Cross Keys Practice

We moved from Wheatley over a year ago and had an excellent Gp surgery there so it was with some trepidation that we started looking for a new local Gp-how could another be so good? and reports in the press regarding Gps and access to services didnt inspire confidence.
However, Cross Keys surgery and its partner in Chinnor are brilliant and show that excellence in care provision and staff are not restricted to one place. I cannot speak highly enough of the care, access to care and the kindness shown to me and my partner from the receptionists to the doctors and would recommend this surgery to anyone moving to the area and looking for a high quality and professional Gp service. We have never had a problem getting an appointment on the same day and on an occasion when we turned up at the wrong surgery the staff were so helpful in sending us on and keeping our now late appointment. Thankyou -an excellent team
One continually reads desperate reports of the crisis in the NHS and GPs' practices, but none of the criticisms seems to apply to the CrossKeys. The staff - from Reception right through to nurses and doctors - are uniformly helpful, polite, welcoming, efficient and friendly. This is a brilliant practice and we are very lucky to have it here.
Following an appt. with Dr Babajee on 4/07/16 I was ambulanced to Wycombe hosp for ECG checks. I had no heart problem, but while there was given a chest Xray, which showed a nodule on my right lung During the next 6 weeks I had a CT scan, a PET scan, a lung biopsy and a bronchioscopy, and ended up in the oh so capable hands of Mr. Niall McConigle, who performed a lobectomy by keyhole surgery on 31/08/16 - just 2 months from my initial appt with you. I was put on the enhanced recovery programme from Harefield, which clearly worked as I was home within 3 days.I was so lucky that everyone I met, throughout were so attentive, professional and very aware, a fact reflected by my treatment and the outcome.
The whole surgery runs efficiently and all staff have a caring nature
Have been using this surgery for 15 years. I think this is a great practice and staff are almost always excellent. We all have our occasional off day whether a patient,(we do too), GP, nurse, receptionist or other, we are human beings.
The only issue I once had was when I wanted to change GP within the practice (this GP has now left), and received a firm 'no' from the Practice Manager who was not understanding. I later spoke to a senior GP who completely understood my concerns and made the appropriate arrangements. I thank him from the bottom of my heart.
